Caitlin Brandt – Artistic Director Ballet, Modern, Street Funk, Conditioning Caitlin Brandt studied at the Studio School of Dance, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Granite State Ballet, Spectrum Dance Theatre and with Margot Parsons and Roseann Ridings. While an apprentice with Granite State Ballet Company, she performed in Paquita, Variations on Bach, Dancing Through The Years and Cinderella. As a company member with Northern Ballet Theatre, she performed in the Nutcracker, Let’s Swing and Agnes de Mille’s Rodeo. She has performed at the Bates Dance Festival in Lewiston, Maine and in the Nutcracker with the Boston Dance Company. Caitlin was a company member with Danny Swain Dance Company performing in various shows throughout the Boston and Cambridge area. She is a company member and assistant with Jennie & Company in Fitchburg, Massachusetts and a company member with Northern Ballet Theatre in Nashua, New Hampshire most recently performing in The Nutcracker and Cinderella. Caitlin was the Children’s Education Programs Director for Northern Ballet Theatre and taught many classes at Northern Ballet Theatre Dance Centre, Spectrum Dance Theatre, The Dance Center and master classes at Groton School. In addition, she ran the ballet program for Groton Recreation for four years. Her choreography has been set on Northern Ballet Theatre Youth Ensemble, Groton School, Groton Recreation, Jennie & Company and the University of New England. Caitlin also holds a certificate in Fitness and Nutrition.
Susie Michaud - Tap Susie Michaud received her B.S. in Education from Fitchburg State College. Her advanced dance studies were in New York City at June Taylor School. She has studied with tap masters Al Gilbert, Paul Draper, Brenda Bufalino and Honi Coles. Ms. Michaud’s teaching experience includes The Boston Conservatory, Groton School, Harvard/Radcliffe dance program, Mount Wachusett Community College and Northern Ballet Theatre. Susie is currently the tap instructor for Boston Youth Moves at Jeannette Neill Dance Studio in Boston and is owner and director of Toe Tappers located in Ayer, MA. Her tap competition choreography has won both regional and national recognition.
Amanda Couturier - Ballet, Modern, Lyrical
Amanda Couturier is currently a student at Fitchburg State College with a major in Education/Special Education and an Earth Science/Geology minor. In the Spring of 2008, she transferred from the University of South Florida, where she studied Athletic Training and Dance. Amanda has been dancing for 14 years, receiving her formal studio training at The Dance Center in Winchendon, MA. Over the years, she has studied many different dance disciplines. She was a part of The Dance Center competition team for 7 years, taking part in solos, duets, small groups and large groups. Since the age of 14, Amanda has been assistant teaching and helping out with classes at The Dance Center. She also had the opportunity to choreograph a few pieces, jointly and alone, during her Senior year of high school. Her love of dance has pushed her to participate in many different workshops, intensives, and master classes, including The Boston Dance Company, Jacobs Pillow, Trey McIntyre Project, Battleworks, USF Modern Dance Programs, New York City Dance Alliance, North East Workshop, and many others. Currently, Amanda dances with and choreographs for Jennie&Company, a modern dance company. Amanda’s passion has always been dance and she is very excited to pass on what she loves most now as a teacher to her students.
Tina Cassidy - Ballet
Tina Cassidy has an MFA from the Boston Conservatory. She trained with the Lake Erie Ballet School. Ms. Cassidy danced professionally with the Boston Dance Company, The Boston Conservatory, Indianapolis Ballet Theatre, Indianapolis Dance Company, the Lake Erie Ballet and Northern Ballet Theatre.
