the STUDIO
* This rehearsal for Ballet levels 1/2 and up and all Tap,
Modern and Jazz/Hip Hop classes will
be held at the studio. This will be a full run through of the performance. Ballet
1 and Pre-Ballet classes do not need to attend on this day.
* Hair must be done for this rehearsal as if it were the
performance. Please NO COSTUMES or MAKEUP.
* If you plan
on staying, please try and park close to the car next to yours to fit as many
cars as we can in the parking lot. You may also parallel park along the side of
the building and along the tree side of the street and feel free to block
Caitlin’s car in. You may park in the hair salon parking lot ONLY IF THE TOY
STORE IS CLOSED. Please do not block the garage doors to the auto shop.
* This will probably not be a good day to ask questions
regarding the performance. Please try to address any questions you may have
prior to this day. You may also call 978-852-7298 or email
info@NashobaValleyDanceAcademy.com.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
To avoid parking lot issues
please arrive no later then the scheduled time. We ask that everyone get ready
upstairs to avoid chaos in the doorway.
Please leave all outdoor
shoes upstairs. The shelf downstairs is too small to fit everyone’s shoes on

FRIDAY, MAY 25, 2012 All students must arrive at
the times listed below. Please arrive with hair and make up done, in costume
and with a smile.
Students in multiple dances
should arrive in the first costume that they wear in the performance.
There will be a table to
check in located near the backstage/hallway area. Parents will not be
allowed in the backstage area or hallway. Please put your child’s name on anything that they bring including
costumes (if they have more then one), ballet slippers, water bottles etc. No
food will be allowed backstage.
PLEASE CARRY TAP SHOES TO
THE BACKSTAGE AREA. Do not walk down the hallway with them on.
Picking up your child – We ask that only
one adult pick up each child or family. This will eliminate chaos in the
doorway and hallway. Please make a single file line along the side of the
hallway. Students will be dismissed in their groups. We will announce each
group and ask that only parents of that group move toward the front to get
their children. Then you may exit toward the lobby once you have picked up your
child. Students may not leave the backstage area unless an adult is there to
pick them up. Please be patient…we
want to make sure every child is matched to a parent.
Doors to the theater will
open approximately ½ hour before the performance. Tickets will be on sale prior
to the show in the lobby. Checks or cash only please, no credit cards will be
accepted.
Photography is not permitted
during the performance. The flash is distracting to the dancers and the screen
of the camera/phone is distracting to those seated behind you. Professional
photos will be available to purchase online after the show. Info can be found
at www.nashobavalleydanceacademy.com.
Enclosed is a DVD order form.
VIDEOTAPING DURING THE PERFORMANCE WILL BE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. The DVD’s will
be very high quality. Last year’s DVD was great!
You may mail order forms
directly to Joe Spanos, drop them off in the black box at the studio or drop
them in the box in the lobby of the theater the day of the performance. Please
make checks payable to Joe Spanos.
Thank you!
